Our motivation for creating Ascend Beauty Academy was rooted in recognizing a gap in traditional cosmetology education—especially when it comes to natural and textured hair care.

FOUNDER & HAIRSTYLIST
From an early age, I discovered a deep passion for hair and beauty. Watching my family create beautiful hairstyles sparked a love that quickly grew into purpose. I realized that confidence and self-expression through hair can truly transform how we feel and show up in the world.
With over 18 years of hands-on experience working with a wide range of textures, I have dedicated my craft to mastering natural hair care, braids, and protective styling. As a mother of seven daughters, I’ve also had the unique opportunity to continuously refine my skills, deepen my knowledge, and nurture a true understanding of diverse hair needs.
Today, that journey fuels my commitment to delivering exceptional, personalized hair care. Every client who sits in my chair receives not just a service, but an experience—one designed to leave them feeling confident, beautiful, and fully seen.

Our pricing reflects the quality, time, and care dedicated to each service. Prices listed are a general guide and include braiding hair only.

CANCELLATION
We value both your time and ours. To ensure availability for all clients, we kindly ask that any cancellations or rescheduling be made in advance.
Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in a fee or require a deposit for future bookings.

When booking your appointment, please select all services needed to ensure proper scheduling time.
Additional services cannot be added the day of your appointment, as this may affect the next client’s scheduled time.
